Below is a show-and-tell of what instruments Keith Knight uses for recording and live performances. He has used Pendulum preamps exclusively for live performance for over 15 years. For live sound with non-resophonic guitars, Keith now uses K&K pure western piezo pickups coupled with a AKG C516 ML mini condenser mics which are mounted inside the cavity of the guitars. He blends these signals with a patented Pendulum module and sends them through a Pendulum preamp and out to the board. Keith also uses a Neumann km 84 and 85 condenser mic to capture the sound in front of the guitars. For resophonic guitars and mandolin, Keith uses only the km 84 or 85. Some of the instruments Keith plays come from finest craftsmen in the world.
